Hackney Money Hub is a new team within Hackney Council. Our friendly and non judgemental team has decades of experience supporting people who are struggling with finances, looking for extra help or advice with the benefits system, or even facing homelessness.

The price of energy, food and bills are all rising and many of us are feeling worried about our finances. You might even find yourself in a position you have never experienced before. There are services and advice that can help, some of which depend on your circumstances.

NHS
Healthy Start Scheme
If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk.
If you’re eligible, you’ll be sent a Healthy Start card with money on it that you can use in some UK shops. We’ll add your benefit onto this card every 4 weeks.
